The aim of this OFQUAL recognised qualification, Focus Awards Level 4 Award in Facial Anatomy and Physiology (RQF), is to provide knowledge and understanding of the anatomy and physiology associated with the facial area. This qualification will provide a solid foundation for you to work toward future higher-level courses and can open up a wider range of insurances available to you as an industry professional.

Our OFQUAL recognised Focus Awards Level 4 Facial Anatomy and Physiology qualification is a fully online learning programme, designed to provide a thorough knowledge and understand of the anatomy and physiology within the facial areas that are commonly associated with cosmetic injectable treatments.

This qualification can be completed remotely at the learners own pace within a 6 month time frame. Once completed, it will upweight any existing Level 3 qualifications and CPD accreditations as well as enabling access to OFQUAL Level 5 and Level 7 qualifications.

There is a series of questions that will need to completed to demonstrate a Level 4 standard of work. This includes using suitable research and referencing.

Units include:

Full understanding of facial anatomy and physiology. Muscles, bone structure, systems of the body that affect the skin, skin anatomy and types.
Full understanding of associated pathologies of the skin and systems of the body.
Full understanding skin disorders, injuries, and conditions and how they affect the skin.

I feel confident in my knowledge as I approach my practicals and cannot wait to carry out the treatments.
