Some of our beginner ‘career change’ courses have been specifically designed to include the pre requisites for more advanced Aesthetic Qualifications meaning we can completely guide you through the entirety of our learning journey, even if you have no pre-existing relevant qualifications. Please contact one of our academy team and they can discuss the best options for you.
Our highly skilled portfolio of Medic & Advanced Aesthetic Practitioner tutors have a wealth of experience, & hold Government recognised teaching qualifications. They are registered assessors with a vast level of expertise & passion in the subject areas they teach.
All our courses are accredited by CPD or offer a VTCT qualification, therefore once you have your certificate you can contact an insurance company to gain the relevant cover. We highly recommend InSync Insurance to all students.
For each course you are required to complete guided online learning relevant to the course content prior to the practical date. On the training day you will recap the theory but the main focus will be the practical element working on live models or where relevant each other.
Unlike other academies, our support is unlimited & on-going. We leave the door open for communication through email, telephone or in person and all students are encouraged to stay in touch.
A professional beauty uniform or scrubs are preferred, but if you are new to the industry plain black long sleeve clothing is fine (long sleeves must be able to be rolled up to prevent cross contamination). Jewelry to be removed, hair tied off the face, no excessive long nails, no flip flops or sliders, all shoes must be close toed.
Our academy is based on a private business park with limited retail access so students are advised to bring lunch with them if possible. We provide light refreshments and of course you will have access to our student room with a kettle, fridge and microwave. There is a café across the road with a farm shop around a 5 minute drive away.
You will need to bring any notes you have made whilst working through the online learning. Lunch and a drink is also advised.
Our courses generally consist of a morning online theory recap session that ensure you start your day with confidence. The tutor will demonstrate each treatment on a model, then will then have the opportunity to carry out a full treatments on your own models, with guidance & supervision from our highly skilled tutors.
