Magnesium

Vitamin C
Benefits: Immune boosting, cold prevention, anti-aging.
Contraindications: Pregnancy (can cause diarrhoea leading to dehydration), chemotherapy users
Dose: 1.5g
Side effects: Diarrhoea, abdominal cramps, GI upset

Vitamin B5
Benefits: Skin, hair and eye health, immune boosting, liver and GI health, RBC production, libido enhancement.
Contraindication: Pregnancy
Dose: 500mg
Side effect: Diarrhoea

Vitamin B6
Benefit: Brain development and function, mood enhancement and stress relieve.
Contraindication: Sensitivity to ingredients (chlorobutanol anhydrous)
Dose: 100mg
Side effect: Low BP, may affect glucose levels, may increase bleeding, GI upset, paraesthesia

Vitamin B7 (Biotin)
Benefit: Hair growth, metabolism of fat, carbohydrates and amino acids.
Contraindication: Hypersensitivity to components
Dose: 5-10mg
Side effect: Allergic-like hypersensitivity, principally skin allergies

Vitamin B12
Benefit: RBC formation, energy boost, bone health, muscle protection, mood enhancement, brain health.
Dose: 2g
Side effects: Diarrhoea, itching
Note: Vit B12 should not be administered more than once a week

Calcium
Benefit: bone health, muscle health, nerve health, protection against high BP, cancer and diabetes.
Contraindication: Pregnancy

Side effects: Low BP, arrhythmias, tingling sensations, heat waves, constipation, GI upset, local burning sensation

Glutathione
• Powerful antioxidant, vital in preventing oxidative stress caused by free radicals, peroxides, and heavy metals
• Used in DNA synthesis and repair, neutralisation of free radicals, maintaining Vit C and E in their active forms
• Not an essential nutrient as the liver produces it from glycine, glutamic acid, and cysteine
• Depletion has been linked to cancer, Alzheimer’s, and cystic fibrosis
• Inhibits melanin production by inhibiting the conversion of Tyrosine to L-DOPA
Contraindications: Sulpha allergy, pregnancy, asthmatics
Dose: 600 – 2400mg, given as a slow IV push over 2 mins
