Injection Technique (Scalp)
- We use a 4mm needle 30g to inject the scalp
- The skin on the scalp is very thin and therefore it wouldn’t require a needle longer than 4mm
- Again, 0.1ml should be bolus once the needle has been advanced into the skin
- 4mm needles can also be used in the face and the neck
- We will probably only be Injecting 2ml maximum as remember, out of a 10ml tube of blood, we will only get 2ml PRP at absolute maximum.
