Injection Technique (Face)
- When injecting the face and the neck, we use a 30g (yellow) ¼ needle
- We only inject half of the needle length into the dermis
- Depending on the client, this will be a 25-degree injection and only half the needle length
- 1ml is then bolus into the skin and the needle is then retracted gently
- Pressure with gauze should be applied if bleeding occurs
- We will probably only be Injecting 2ml maximum as remember, out of a 10ml tube of blood, we will only get 2ml PRP at absolute maximum.
