Objectives: To achieve the aim we will cover the following:
- To become aware of the relevant health & safety associated with facial treatments
- To recognise contra-indications and act responsibly upon recognition on a contra-indication
- To develop an understanding of the anatomy of the skin and underlying structures
- To diagnose skin types and give advice on ways to improve or maintain a balanced skin type
- To identify the products and tools needed to carry out a facial treatment
- To perform a facial treatment
- To give relevant aftercare advice
