Course Aim and Objectives

Aim: To build the knowledge and skills to perform a treatment on the face, décolletage, neck and shoulders.

Objectives: To achieve the aim we will cover the following:

  • To become aware of the relevant health & safety associated with facial treatments
  • To recognise contra-indications and act responsibly upon recognition on a contra-indication
  • To develop an understanding of the anatomy of the skin and underlying structures
  • To diagnose skin types and give advice on ways to improve or maintain a balanced skin type
  • To identify the products and tools needed to carry out a facial treatment
  • To perform a facial treatment
  • To give relevant aftercare advice

You will demonstrate competence by completing the ASSIGNMENTS, EXAMS AND PRACTICAL OBSERVATIONS.
