Facial Trolley Preparation
- Cotton pads/cotton buds in a bowl
- Tissues
- Mask Brush, if needed
- Headband

Facial Procedure
Bed/couch set up: Small pillow under the head, ideally a bolster for the knees and a small towel over the chest. Client cocooned with blanket Headband/towel as headband. Ensure a towel is hanging down for hands at the head of the couch.
- Complete full consultation, including record card, check for contra-indications.
- Advise the client how to lie on the couch – place pillow or bolster under knees for support. While client is getting on the couch wash your hands.
- Have a quick look and feel of the skin prior to any products going onto the skin.
- EYE/LIP CLEANSE: Begin treatment with eye make-up remover to the eyes using damp cotton pads and leave to soak. Repeat this process over the lip area. Return to the eyes and remove, asking the client to look up to remove all traces of eye make-up
- FIRST CLEANSE: Using hands perform superficial cleanse with a suitable cleanser and remove with damp mitts or sponges and blot the skin dry.
- DEEP CLEANSE using correct product for client’s skin type and either use a cleansing brush or manual hand cleanse within the treatment. Remove product with damp mitts/sponges.
- EXFOLIATE with product to suit client’s skin type and remove product with damp mitts
- MASK: Apply suitable face mask according to client’s skin type and leave for 10 minutes. Carry out a scalp/hand & arm massage. Remove mask with mitts.
- TONE, MOISTURISE and SPF: Apply appropriate toner, suitable moisturiser and SPF.
- Tell your client it is the end of the treatment and sit client up and show results in the mirror. Allow your client time to dress and offer them water
- Provide aftercare, home care and further treatments; Recap the recommended products that you advised at the beginning of the treatment.
