How to write an assignment

This course is a Level 3 course so it is the equivalent on an A-Level so there is the expectation that the assignments  meet a set criteria.

This criteria includes-

  • Spelling and grammar checks are completed and corrections made
  • That is is wrote in a logical order of a introduction of what the assignment is about, then the answers to the questions in the brief and then finish with a conclusion of why this this information is key to know within the industry. This guide can be used How to write an assignment

You also need to make sure you have included the answers to the whole brief to cover all the criteria.

Here is the log book so you can see what the VTCT criteria is VTCT anatomy log book , page 23 is where the range of criteria is stated.

The VTCT course comprises of-

  • 10 assignments
  • 1 compulsory exam that has a 70% minimum pass mark.

The Exam

The exam is completed at the end of the course and has to be completed in person at the clinic in exam conditions. The exam is a multiple course paper that is marked and then verified. Once verified your result will be shared with you.

You must get 70% or more to pass the exam/course. If you don’t pass then you will be give two chances to resit. After this there will be additional charges to sit again.

The questions that you do not pass on the exam will be crossed referenced to your assignments.

Your course is completed once all work has been collated in a log book and verified by the awarding body,  VTCT. After this process the certificates will be issued.
