Technique

Identify the direction of the hair growth of the first 4-5 – these will be implanted as stand-alone strokes. From that point identify the first down stroke and the first upward stroke. In your minds picture the middle point for which these two hairs will meet.

With a very light pressure Place your down stroke in the skin and then bring your upwards stroke towards it to meet

 

Move your body in the direction of the hair growth.  Stand behind your ‘line’ the line is the hair you are creating.  Gaining correct positioning will allow your needle to naturally flow.  If you leave larger gaps between the hairs, you will have space to texture the eyebrows. This basic technique is the perfect way to learn how to structure your EXPRESS BROWS.

Note:  It is imperative that you understand less is more with Express My Brow. You are looking to achieve a consistent ‘fluffy’ coverage rather than densely packed strokes that create a more solid brow. If you client wants more then please direct them to Enhance My Brow.

After you have added these strokes referred to as ‘competition of our first pass, you can numb and repeat on the other side.

Once repeated, sit your client up and re draw your first brow. Ensure your pencil is sharp and remove or pluck any hairs outside of your shape. Your drawing should be lightly penciled, so you can see all your previous work.

You will then add numbing cream on to the undrawn brow and lay your client back down.

You will then begin texturizing. I identify gaps within the hair strokes. Apply ‘floating’ strokes in the middle of the gaps.

Note– each brow varies, this will be dependent on the amount of har growth there is. some will require more texturizing than others. Some will fill up with your ‘V technique’ You will be taught to identify how the eyebrows differ on our training.

Having a ‘go to’ technique is favorable. You will find your build skill and confidence if you have a generic method. You can apply this to all your eye brow scenarios where there is a hair growth pattern to follow. Less hair is more Tricky. You should identify a few dominant hairs and pick up a pattern from there.
