Sensitivity Test (Topical Plaster Method) Instructions – Document 1

Carry out this test at least 3 days prior to your enhancement.

• In the envelope provided you will find 2 plasters:
• One impregnated with permanent cosmetic pigment
• One impregnated with anaesthetic
• Fold back the protective backing on one of the plasters to reveal the pigment
• Re- hydrate the pigment by adding a drop of tap water to the plaster
• Place the plaster on the tip of your left thigh
• Repeat this procedure for the second plaster that is impregnated with anaesthetic.  In this case place the plaster on the top of your right thigh
• After 24 hours, remove the plaster and examine the skin, if there is no reaction, i.e. no redness, swelling or itching it is safe to proceed with the enhancement

• Should you experience any of the symptoms mentioned above, remove the plaster and immediate flush the area with cold water
• Please telephone us on xxxxxxxx to report the test result
• Please note that the correct colour will be mixed for you at your scheduled appointment.  The colour used in this test is for sensitivity test purposed only
• On completion of your sensitivity test sign below and bring the completed document to your appointment
