Immediate after care advice:

  • After the operation is completed, the face may appear pink, which may vary from person to person. Any redness/erythema, oedema or blood spotting will reduce within 24 hours. If this does not reduce then the client can follow the contra-action advice.
If redness, swelling or irritation does not subside or gets worse after then the following steps should be followed-

1.       Wash the area with cool plain water

2.       Apply a cold compress

3.       If this does not alleviate symptoms then seek medical attention

4.       Once alleviated let the therapist/salon know that a reaction has occurred.

Further treatments:

The time between treatments is about 10-14 days, and the time of a maintenance varies from person to person. Generally, it lasts 1-3 months but it is very hard to be exact for each client. The frequency of lightening and whitening will increase to a different degree for each skin, the client usually needs around 3-4 sessions to achieve the best results.

Skin care advice for between treatments:

  • Must always wear a SPF of 30+
  • Cleanse using the correct cleanser for their skin
  • Moisturise two times a day (morning and night)
  • Exfoliate 1-2 times a week
  • Do a mask once a week
  • Drink 1.5-2L of water a day
